Weekly note from your B Reps

Hello everyone!

We will send you an email every Sunday with information about upcoming B Meets and a reminder about the sign-up deadline. Here is your first!

A few important reminders for Wednesday’s Blue Out Meet:

• Warm-ups begin at 515 pm (for every other meet they will start at 5).
• The meet begins at 6 pm.
• Volunteers should arrive by 515 pm.
• If you have not yet already done so, please sign your child(ren) up for the particular events that they will swim.
• There is not a deadline for sign up for this meet but the earlier the better.
• IN THE FUTURE THE DEADLINE FOR B MEET SIGN UP WILL BE MONDAY EVENING.

Thank you so much if you have signed up to volunteer! We are so happy to have you. If you are volunteering please look for Anne on the deck. Anne has blond hair and will look like she knows what she’s doing!

John Claud is our head timer and the person with whom you will be having a meeting before the meet begins if you have signed up to time. He will start the meeting as soon as he is able to which will likely be around 535 pm. He will include information if you need it about how to work the watch, what to do and what to expect if you have never timed before. That meeting happens on the starting (diving board/deep end) side of the pool. The meeting happens on the side further from the covered pavilion. That is where it always happens and it happens before every meet. He will likely have a lot of watches around his neck and similarly look like he's old hat.

Anne will be able to explain the roles to the runners and the 10 and under helpers and direct you where you need to go. The 10 and under helpers will be at the Clerk of Course area which is situated in the covered area of the pavilion that is not raised.
