Weekly Note from you B Reps (July 7)/TEAM PICTURE/RY DYE (Tie-Dye Night)!
Hello everyone and congrats on a great meet against Old Farm yesterday,
on a fast and fun meet at Somerset on Wednesday and on a hard fought
relay carnival this morning. Thank you so much to everyone for being at
these meets and for helping out!
Our B Meet this week is at home. It starts at 6 pm.
The deadline for entering your swimmers in the meet is MONDAY EVENING.
If
you have any questions about the sign up process please let us know so
we can help you get your children signed up before tomorrow night!
Swimmers are allowed to swim three individual events and an IM.
If a swimmer placed in the top three in any event at the A Meet they may not swim that event in the B Meet.
TEAM PICTURE!
We
will be taking our annual team picture before the B Meet at 445 pm.
This picture is given to everyone at the banquet as a keepsake of their
summer swim season!
Come for the picture even if your child isn’t swimming and stay for the meet to cheer everyone on!
Please
have your swimmers arrive at 430 pm. Warm-ups begin at 500 pm. We will
be taking the team photo at 445 pm. Volunteers should arrive no later
than 540 pm.
District Falafel will be the food truck on hand for dinner that evening.
It
has come to our attention that during swim meets at Bannockburn pool,
there are children who are not swimming in the meet who are in the baby
pool, in the smaller pool, and climbing in areas where they are in
danger of getting hurt without proper supervision. Please make sure that
a parent or someone responsible has an eye on any child who is not
swimming in the meet at all times.
RY DYE (Tie-Dye Night!)
Our fantastic coach Ryan Jolley also has a tie-dye business called, of course, Ry Dye!
Come
out on Thursday night at 7 pm when Ryan will lead us in tie-dyeing and
also have some of her shirts and socks on hand to sell!
RSVP and a
shirt and a pair of socks will be provided for your swimmer to tie-dye.
Also feel free to bring some shirts of your own!
Thank you for coming to the meets and for all that you do to support your swimmer and team. We are endlessly appreciative.
Our best,
Anne and Tracy
