Our first practice is June 1^st! That’s just 2-weeks away. We can’t wait to see you on deck. Below are some season reminders and updates.

Practice Schedule – Great news! After much feedback based on our tentative schedule, we’ve revised our practice schedule and rearranged some age-  groups.  Please note, at this time, we are no longer requiring families to reserve a practice spot for morning practices!

May27th - Back to Pool Night @ Bannockburn 6-7PM! Come out to meet swim team
families and purchase a new team suit for the season!

June1^st – First Day of Swim Practice

June 12^th– Time Trials @ Bannockburn (First Intra-Squad Meet)

June 16^th– Blue - Out Team Meet @ Bannockburn (Intra-squad Meet)

Volunteer:

Swim Team Volunteers needed! Want to guarantee a VIP spot to watch your swimmer during swim meets? Are you a computer expert? Parent volunteers are the heart of our swim team program and we simply can't operate without you. Each and every meet needs multiple timers, ribbon labels helpers, and 1 clerk-of-course (to organize the kids so that they know when to swim). No training is necessary for any of these critically important roles. In addition to it just being fun, this is the best way to watch your child(ren) compete. Spectators will not be allowed on the pool deck during meets.

Officials Needed:

Do you want to hear yourself say, "TAKE YOUR MARK...GO!!"? Please consider supporting the team by becoming a Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) official-a stroke and turn judge, a starter, or even a referee (experience required) by taking an online clinic. It doesn’t take much time, and we really need you! Contact [email protected] or [email protected] to keep our team successful.

Watching Meets:

Sorry families - unless you are a volunteer (see above section “Volunteer”), you may
not watch the meets on deck. Bannockburn will be LIVE STREAMING swim meets. For

Registration:

There is still time to register! Register HERE for a fun-filled summer including: daily swim practices, safe socialization, and spirited swim meets.

Water-Assessment:

Does your swimmer need a water assessment? Stay-tuned. Coaches will be
assessing swimmers during the first week of practice from 3:30-4 PM (starting June 1^st).
