Hi Bannockburn Families –

The true sign of a good swim meet is when you’ve cheered so loudly that your voice is gone! Yesterday’s meet was a nail biter…Bannockburn put up a good fight with some incredible swims! Even though we were several points shy of the win, we were honored to watch Bannockburn’s own, Olympic Trials qualifier, Sophie Duncan break several pool records!! Congratulations to all our swimmers who crushed their first meet, showed great sportsmanship, and displayed tremendous teamwork!

1.TODAY (Sunday, June 20^th) - Deadline to sign up for our Blue VS. Yellow B-Meet on Wednesday, June 23^rd @ Bannockburn. Coaches will divide the swimmers into the Yellow Team and the Blue Team! Watch as the teams bond and fight for the BIG WIN! Scores will be tallied in real time so swimmers can follow along and support their teammates! The administration burden is so great that we are not able to accept last minute entries so please sign up by tonight at 11:00PM!

2.TOMMORROW (Monday, June 21^st) – Deadline to declare your availability for Saturday’s A-Meet against Kentlands @ Bannockburn Pool! So…turns out putting together a swim meet line-up is kinda a big deal. Our coaches and automation staff (Stephanie Curcuru) deserve endless virtual high fives for all their hard work. We need your help to create the most accurate line-up based on your schedule and availability (seriously - this one simple step makes our coaches job MUCH EASIER!). It’s simple and easy to declare your availability for all the upcoming A-Meets:

Instructions How To Declare Availability For Meets:

1. Go to https://bannockburndolphins.swimtopia.com and click Login.

2. Sign into your account. If you can’t remember your password, click Unable to Login to reset your password.

3. Go to Home page and select 2021 Schedule tab

4. Click Meet Entry for the meet you want to sign up for.

5. Click Edit.

6. For each of your swimmers, select an option from the drop down menu. The menu reads:

• (undeclared)
• Not available for this meet
• Available for this meet

*Please note: If you have selected a B Meet, choose the events that your swimmer would like to swim. Your swimmer may swim a maximum of three stroke events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly) in addition to IM (Individual Medley).
