What an incredible turn-out to Sunday’s Trading Places Parent Swim Meet! We are blown away by your generosity – we raised over $3,600 for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness. It’s not too late to donate to raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. Huge shout-out to Jessica Korman for spearheading the fundraiser and event. While the results from the meet are posted at the pool (thanks to Isabelle Hyman), we’d like to highlight a few of the superstars from Sunday’s meet. No one was more shocked than ME to find out Kevin Nigri and Amy Conroy are doggie paddle gold medalists. Ken Merriam blew us all away with his epic 25-fly, Natalie Silverman crushed the 50-breaststroke, and Dhani Jones, shocked the spectators when he took the gold in the men’s 50-breaststroke. No one could believe Bradley Watkins’ incredible 50-freestyle (sub :30 anyone?). I would be remiss if I didn’t give Coach Gabby a huge shout-out for crazy fast 25-fly. Not to brag, but the women’s 50-backstroke was the race of a lifetime…

Friday, July 16^th – Join us after Stroke and Turn practice for the CIT’s Weekly Social Event! T-SHIRT DECORATION! There is still time to order plain t-shirts on Amazon – same day shipping! Bring a shirt and decorate with the team! Order dinner at the Pho Wheels Vietnamese Food Truck!

July 19-23^rd – Modified Practice Schedule Begins:

• Morning Practices – All Swimmers
• Evening Practice – Qualifying Divisional Swimmers (practice time TBD)

Wednesday, July 21^st - PRE-TEAM SWIM MEET – Finally, it’s your turn pre-teamers…get ready to swim fast at your very first swim meet! More information coming soon! Swimmers, if you LOVED running the parent meet, you’ll love helping out at the pre-team meet – we are looking for lots of volunteers.
