Hi Bannockburn Dolphins –

Today marks the halfway point of our season...three weeks down, three more to go!  Our Bucking Bronco’s really brought it during today’s rodeo at King Farm! Bannockburn certainly turned on the heat today, winning the meet by 240 points (515 Bannockburn/275 King Farm)! While there were many outstanding races – did you see those 8&U swimmers crush the graduated relays? Bruce Bello, Mads Anderson, Yuriko Suwa, and Eleanor Hass – what a way to finish off the meet! The 8&unders were not the only MVP’s - let’s not forget our incredible parent volunteers. Seyi Badmus swapped her Stroke and Turn Judge outfit for a seat at the automation table! High five to Jen Hass, who always nods her head and says “YES” to the most challenging job on deck – Clerk of Course! Can anyone guess how many times Tom Spooner said, “Take Your Mark?” Answer:  50 times - way to go Tom! We must give an award to Michael Hass who stuck by his commitment to timing at Wednesday's B-Meet, even though his kids couldn't make it! Finally, we bid our, always cheerful head timer, John Claud and self-proclaimed, “human with thumbs” a farewell for the 2022 meet season.

**Remember that if you placed top 3 in an event today, you cannot swim that event in the B-meet. Your swimmer WILL BE REMOVED (and this is truly a lot of work for our volunteers). **

Saturday, July 9^th – A-Meet vs. Merrimack @ HOME (THEME: BEACH)

This will be, by far, the most exciting dual meet of the season as we welcome our neighborhood rivals, the Merrimack Maniacs to Bannockburn for our very last home meet of the season! We encourage all swimmers and families to attend this meet, as it will certainly get rowdy! In addition, we will celebrate our Seniors: Sophie Duncan, Andrew O’Brien, and Jacob Seiberg during our famous Senior Sendoff Ceremony! We can’t wait to honor these amazing swimmers and teammates for being incredible role models and leaders for our team!  *The Bannockburn Team Picture will be taken after the meet!*
