Not gonna lie – we crushed this season – and yes…I could write one last tear-jerker email reminding us how we bonded as a team and created the best summer of our kids lives. Wait - did you think it was over? There are still THREE MORE PRACTICES LEFT! Our very committed coaches are still holding practices for ALL swim-team swimmers this week – it’s a perfect time for your swimmer to get even more attention from coaches since everyone else has already left for vacation!

Did you hear about our stellar 2^nd place finish at Divisionals last Saturday? Our incredible performance this summer has secured our spot in the, even more competitive, Division D next summer! Congratulations to Meyer Eskin for breaking the Bannockburn Boys 15-18 100M Breastroke, and to Andrew O’Brien, Meyer Eskin, Charlie Conroy and Max McMillian for breaking the Bannockburn Boys 200 Medley Relay!

The ribbon box (located near the lifeguard office) is literally bursting at the seams. Don’t forget to check your family folder one last time for ribbons and medals from the last few meets. Also, if you couldn’t attend the banquet, please get your Bannockburn medal from the lifeguard office!

Oh, hey…one more thing. At any point in the season did you think to yourself…”I’d love to get more involved”, or “I could do that task really well”, or “Why did they do it that way?”…We’ve been looking for you! Our team operates on parent volunteers and we are losing several committed volunteers next summer including:

B-Meet Rep – join our B-Rep Team (you do NOT work alone) help organize and operating B-Meets (coordinate dates/locations with other teams, secure volunteers, and attend all B-Meets).

Treasurer - I dunno….something to do w/ money

Concessions – Coordinate food for social events, all home swim meets (this could be as easy as setting up an Instacart order!) and securing volunteers to sell food!

We truly need you.
