**TIME SENSITIVE - Did You Register For Time-Trials?**

Hi Bannockburn -

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to sign up for Time Trials. **Unfortunately, we cannot add swimmers after the 5:00pm deadline.**

When is Time Trials? Time Trials is Saturday, June 8th @ 8:30am

What is Time Trials? It's a super fun, Bannockburn-Only (Intrasquad) "mock meet" that will run similarly to a regular dual meet. The purpose of this “meet” is to allow new swimmers to learn how meets operate logistically, let coaches see how swimmers perform and inspire parents by showcasing how much volunteer work is required to run a meet! Did that inspire you to volunteer, yet?

Do I Have to Sign My Swimmer Up? YES! Please register your swimmer by 5:00pm Thursday, June 6th. You might be wondering WHY we ask your swimmer to register for meets! Here’s the deal – each swimmer must be assigned a heat and a lane before the meet starts. Then their times are written down and sent over to another team of volunteers electronically entering the data. This “organization” is critical because otherwise there would be total chaos, and ultimately the meet would NEVER, LIKE, EVER end! SIGN UP HERE.

How Do I Sign Up?

  • Visit https://bannockburndolphins.swimtopia.com and Login.
  • Sign on to your account.
  • Select 2024 Schedule tab
  • Click Meet Entry for Time Trials
  • Click Edit.
  • For each of your swimmers, select an option from the drop down menu. The menu reads:
    • Attending this meet – PLEASE SELECT THE EVENTS FOR YOUR SWIMMER.
    • Not attending this meet

Which Events Should My Swimmer Swim? Swimmers can select the events that they would like swim! Time trials is the ONLY meet you can swim every event! Not sure what to swim? Ask a coach!

Can’t Attend Time-Trials? What do we always say at Bannockburn? No worries. We have another intrasquad meet, Blue Out, on Wednesday, June 12th @ 5pm. Please register ASAP.

How Can I Volunteer? Huge thanks to all that have signed up to volunteer! We have successfully filled ALL roles, except for “officials” roles – which we ALWAYS need help with. Please consider taking the MCSL Stroke and Turn Online Training. If you weren’t able to volunteer for this meet, please volunteer for Blue-Out Meet!
