Updates + Blue Out Meet - 5PM DEADLINE TODAY
Bannockburn Families -
What a fantastic Time Trials! Thank you to all of our swimmers, coaches, officials, and volunteers who helped make the meet such a success.
A few special shout-outs:
Russ Forkin, who made his debut with the most famous words in swimming:
"Take your mark..."
And did anyone hear John Cody on the microphone? What a natural announcer! We may have discovered Bannockburn's next broadcasting star.
Attached are the Time Trial results. We saw some fantastic swims, lots of early-season improvement, and even a few All-Star Qualifying Times. Congratulations, swimmers!
Next Up: BLUE OUT
Blue Out is this Wednesday, June 10 and is essentially a repeat of Time Trials - an intrasquad meet where swimmers get another opportunity to race, improve times, and have fun with teammates.
IMPORTANT DEADLINE
Registration closes TODAY Monday, June 8 at 5:00 PM.
Please register your swimmer NOW before the deadline.
We Will Not Be Able to Accommodate Late Entries.
Why?
Because entering swimmers, creating heats and lanes, building relays, and generating the official meet program is a tremendous amount of work for our entirely VOLUNTEER meet team. Once the meet is built, adding swimmers requires reconfiguring the entire system and creating significant additional work.
Thank you for helping us respect the time and efforts of our volunteers.
Need help with SwimTopia registration? Contact our B Meet Representative, Cristina Gomez, at [email protected] and she'll be happy to assist.
Pre-Team Update
Attention Pre-Team families!
To accommodate Wednesday evening's Blue Out Swim Meet, Pre-Team practice on Wednesday will be moved to 4:00 PM. We appreciate your flexibility.
Pasta Parties Are Back!
One of Bannockburn's most beloved traditions returns this week!
Friday, June 12 @ 6:00 PM (immediately following swim practice)
Please bring your favorite:
- Pasta dish
- Side dish
- Dessert
to share with the team.
And because we're just a little bit food-safety obsessed around here:
- Keep hot foods hot
- Keep cold foods cold
- Gloves all day, every day
