Bannockburn Team Weekly Update - New Practice Schedule, B-Meet Registration & More
Happy Father's Day to all our swim dads!
Thanks for the early alarms, endless volunteer shifts, snack bar runs, stopwatch duties, and for somehow rallying our littlest swimmers all while carrying everything in a single trip. We appreciate all you do!
A huge shoutout to our B-Meet Reps, Natalie Silverman and Cristina Gomez, for running a fantastic meet at Carderock Springs. Results are attached. Special thanks to our volunteers of the week:
- Ana Banyai and Alessandra Camparo for leading the snack bar
- Robyn Goecke for staying until 9:30 PM to double-check times in the dark at Carderock Springs
- Sumi Choi, Zoomie Zein, Allison Miller and Jen Lee for handling meet automation and verification behind the scenes and making sure all of our results were accurate
As always, thank you to all of our volunteers. Summer swimming simply doesn't happen without you!

PRE-TEAMERS - you are now welcome to join ANY practice Monday-Thursday!
We hear Friday morning practices are the favorite because of the donuts! We are looking for a volunteer to pick up donuts one Friday morning (the team pays!).

Eligibility
- Up to 3 events plus IM
- Swimmers who placed Top 3 in an event at the previous A-Meet may not swim that event
- No deck entries or late entries
- Swimmers should be legal in their selected events
No late entries can be accepted.

- Snack bar open for dinner
- Hospitality provided for parent volunteers
- Please refrain from using the leisure pool during the meet
- Playground will not be supervised

The online store closes July 8, and there will be limited inventory available at Divisionals.

- Personalized swim caps are available for pickup anytime at the lifeguard desk.
- Ribbons are ready! Please check the plastic file box for your swimmer's folder.
- New ribbon folders have been ordered for our newest families.
