What a weekend! Congratulations to Bannockburn on placing 5th at Divisionals! We had some incredible swims, record-breaking performances, HUGE time drops - and then topped it all off with an amazing banquet!

And an extra-special shoutout to our NEW BANNOCKBURN RECORDS! David Zand had a record-breaking day, setting new Bannockburn records in the 13-14 100 IM (1:04.22) and 50 Free (25.78), while also breaking the previous team record in the 50 Fly!
Jonah Hu also broke the previous Bannockburn records in both the 13-14 100 IM and 50 Fly, and walked away with the new team record in the 50 Fly (28.55)!
Kairav Venugopal continued his record-breaking season by setting new Bannockburn records in the 9-10 25 Back (16.65) and 25 Fly (15.28)!

Divisionals isn’t possible without our parent volunteers! Huge thanks to Chi Nguyen (Take-Off Judge), Meghan Rogers & Kevin Nigri (T-shirt sales), Candace Cody, Melissa Flood, Laura Ivers & Emily West (Timers), and Ed Dorsey (Clerk of Course)!
And a HUGE shoutout to our incredible coaches, who celebrated our swimmers with personalized posters delivered all over the city - and one GIANT poster spotted on 270 (thanks to our alumni Zack Zand, Charlie Conroy and Will Spooner)!!
And Then...THE BANQUET!
After many years, we finally made the right call and moved the banquet indoors - and what an incredible turnout! It was a wonderful celebration of our summer season accomplishments, a beautiful sendoff for our seniors and their families, and the perfect way to recognize our amazing volunteers and coaches.
A special thank you to Malena, Shelby, Lily, Hannah, Amelia, Maia, Nathan, Noah and Alex for their incredible speeches. In just six short weeks, you truly got to know our swimmers - and your thoughtful, funny and personal words showed just how much you cared about each of them.
And an ENORMOUS thank you to Jessica Clancy, our incredibly talented videographer, for creating what was truly the highlight of the night. Jessica somehow captured an entire summer - the friendships, laughter, races, traditions and all those little moments that make Bannockburn so special - and turned them into a beautiful video that had the entire room laughing and crying! The amount of time, thought, creativity and heart that went into creating it was incredible. Jessica, you gave our families and swimmers something we will treasure for years to come. THANK YOU!
